TO DRIVE TO FIRESIDEINN from Alpena travel North on U.S. 23 (approximately 10 miles) until you come to grand Lake Rd. (indicated on large state sign). Turn right. Drive approximately 4 miles to stop sign. Turn right at stop sign, which is Grand Lake Rd. Follow winding road (about 4 miles) until you come to the Fireside Inn sign (which will be on the left). Turn left on Fireside Highway and proceed ¼ mile to Inn.
