After getting settled in your quarters, you may choose to walk along Fireside’s 700-foot shoreline.  Our beach is safe for children, since the bottom slopes gradually, without drop-offs or current.  A diving raft is anchored off-shore for deep-water swimmers.  A mile and a half to the westward is the opposite shore, and to the right it stretches several miles beyond Brown Island.
